Our Practice Approach Initial consultation Dr Finch meets patients for an initial consultation to discuss patient history and symptoms and if necessary, prepare for the surgical procedure. At this initial meeting, Dr Finch will speak to you about your medical history and answer any questions you may have. It is likely that you will also be given written information about your operation, to take away. 
 Post-Operative Services It is recommended that patients return for a post-operative appointment two to three weeks following discharge, or as arranged with Dr Finch, in order to check on progress and recovery. If necessary, Dr Finchs practice is also able to refer you to complementary healthcare practitioners eg dietitian, physiotherapist, oncologist. 
 After-Hours Service Dr Finchs practice also provides a comprehensive 24/7 after-hours service for patients in need of urgent care. If you are in need of after-hours care, you can contact Dr Finch or one of his surgical colleagues by paging (07) 3835 9439.
